The primary objective of this role is to assume senior technical expert responsibility for the design and implementation of a designated technology. The company is transitioning from a monolithic application landscape to a cloud-native, decoupled, and scalable IT environment, and needs high-quality software and system architectural skills to drive this transformation.

The responsibilities for this role are divided into three main focus areas:

• Leading API and decoupling activities in collaboration with all stakeholders.
• Developing essential functionalities such as Central Digital Services, which can be independently developed, maintained, and optimised, enabling small teams to respond quickly and autonomously to dynamic customer needs.
• Supporting the development and evolution of the central API gateway and API quality services, in addition to aligning with API Specifications and central Digital Services.

The Software & System Architects are responsible for defining or recommending software optimizations to ensure reliability, availability, robustness, and performance of the software in operations. They also provide recommendations based on security requirements and define the technical solution, considering non-functional requirements (NFRs) and using automated tools and methods to efficiently gain insight into the software API base.

• To be a team player with great communication skills, able to travel and produce out of the box ideas.
• A university degree with emphasis in Computer Science or Information Systems or a comparable qualification and profit from multiple years professional experience in IT architecture
